Small but mighty! This update brings order to chaos (literally), adds some AI chatbot goodies, and squashes a bunch of pesky bugs that were overstaying their welcome.

What's New​

  • Redaction Codes Get Organized! You can now drag-and-drop to reorder your redaction codes and groups. This isn't just about tidiness—it's about precedence. When multiple codes target the same detection type (like "Face"), only one formatting style can win. The code at the top takes priority, so arrange them in your preferred order of importance.

  • AI Chatbot Reasoning Toggle: You can now toggle the reasoning/thinking mode in the AI chatbot, giving you more control over how the assistant processes your queries.

  • New Object Detection Classes: Added detection support for new object types including Mailbox and others, expanding your auto redaction capabilities.

  • Chatbot Content Selection: You can now select and reference specific content items directly from a searchable list while composing your chatbot message. No more typing identifiers manually just search, select, and ask questions about your content.

Bug Fixes​

  • Azure ARM Plays Nice Again: Insights Translation was getting a bit territorial and blocking on-demand processing via Azure ARM. We've had a chat, and they're friends now.

  • Watermark Templates Actually Work Now: Default values in watermark template fields were being... well, not very default-y. They'd just sit there doing nothing unless you manually poked them. Fixed! Defaults now default as they should.

  • Help Links That Actually Help: Some help article links in the Portal were leading to nowhere (awkward). We've reconnected the dots so clicking "help" actually gets you help.

  • PII Classes Saved Properly: The VIDIZMO Indexer was being forgetful about saving certain PII classes (Profession, User Name, and ZIP Code specifically). Memory restored! Your PII detection settings now stick.

  • Redaction Type Selection Synced: When no redaction types were selected in the VIDIZMO Indexer app, the Studio space was still showing some options as selected. The UI now properly reflects your actual selections.

  • AI Search Results Now Complete: The AI chatbot was only fetching the first 10 results when searching, potentially missing relevant content. Pagination is now enabled by default so all matching records are retrieved.

  • Playback Attributes Visibility: Fixed an issue where certain attributes weren't displaying correctly during media playback.

  • OCR Frame Forward Count: Corrected the frame forward count calculation for OCR processing.
